Research and Publications

Since the establishment of the Chair of ‘Simulation and Modelling of Metallurgical Processes’ (SMMP) in 2003, numerous industry-relevant research projects have been conducted. Notably, three Christian Doppler Laboratories were founded between 2004 and 2018, with a fourth one launching this year. Research is important, but knowledge should be shared with everyone — therefore, we present here not only our ongoing projects, but also our publications.
