Educating the Next Generation of Simulation Experts

Besides research, we offer lectures and practical courses in computational modelling, transport phenomena, numerical methods, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), magnetohydrodynamics, solidification, and simulation-driven process optimization for metallurgy, thermoprocess engineering, and petroleum engineering. Through our teaching activities, students acquire both fundamental knowledge and practical skills in the analysis and simulation of complex engineering processes. In addition, the chair supervises Bachelor's and Master's theses, providing students with the opportunity to contribute to ongoing research projects and address challenging scientific and industrial problems.
